Ad Replication Project

Replication

Original Ad

For my ad replication I chose to do Faber-Castell and the ad they did was the daschund pencil. The tools I used to do this replication was the quick selection tool (to eraser the background from the dog, pencil, and logo). The burn tool to some what blend the dog and pencil together to look like one object. And the last tool I used was the eraser tool to smooth out rough edges, or to get rid of things that shouldn't be in the picture.
This ad was definitely a challenge for me because trying to put a nonliving thing together with a living thing is kind of difficult. I had to do a lot of adjusting with the butt of the dog because the pencil was either to small or to big. But other than that this project wasn't has hard as I thought it would  be.

Strange Fruit Project

When designing a fruit I chose the green apple. Why? Because I love green apples and who doesn't like apples?!?! Anyways I shaped my fruit into a square-sort-of-shape because apples are usually round and take up a lot of space in the fridge. So making the green apple square will make it easier to stack, and plus you can fit more in the fruit drawer in your fridge. Instead of just having a drawer full of apples you can put grapes, strawberries, oranges, etc. all in one drawer instead of putting the fruit that doesn't fit in the vegetable drawer. Not to mention when grocery shopping you can pick up a square apple and not have to worry about the other apples falling. Because they're all stacked on top of each other the wouldn't roll off the stand.
