Comic Strip

It's important to save some selections because if something were to happen to the desktop, and didn't save your document you would lose everything and have to start over again. But if you were to save your selection every 5 minutes and then the desktop stopped working everything that you have saved would be there when you opened it again. In this project using the brush tool was different because in this project you could and shading to the characters, and then highlights to make it look like there is some light source happening in the comic. In the other projects the brush tool was basically used to hide or reveal any part of the character.

Eddie the Donkey

Some of the techniques I used on this assignment that I could have used for my Thor poster was the lighting to make the whole picture look like it belongs with all the other objects in the picture. Another technique would be the masking tool, that makes photos that were placed on the background look like it was there all along. And last but not least the tool that was used to make Eddie look like his rear end is hidden in the ugly barn, I could of possibly used to make my Thor poster look more realistic.

Movie Poster

I layed out my poster I think in a unique way. I was trying to follow my sketch but it was difficult trying to find exact photos of some characters. How I set up my poster is by putting Thor and his people on the left side and then have Malekith and his army on the right. I darkened the background (hence the title the Dark World), and I had the poster set up in Asgard. I wanted my viewers to notice the title of the movie first because then the viewer some what will know what to expect. My sketch influenced my design majorly because the final sketch I drew was what I based my poster on.
